It can be seen from above that confirmed prevalence of Acute Illness is lower in Rural Uttar Pradesh (around 12.5% for males and 13.4% for females) than in Urban Uttar Pradesh (around 10.7% for males and 11.6% for females). In both the areas, females are more acute ill than males.  Seeking of regular treatment is marginally higher in urban areas than rural.  For Rural males are little more for regular treatment than rural females.  But Government Sources are not at all popular in both the Rural and urban areas.  Only 5% of urban persons utilize the Government facilities, whereas 3.5% of rural persons use Government facilities.  Thus Government needs to strengthen the health care system in entire Uttar Pradesh so that public may have to spend less from their pocket on health care.
