It can be seen from above that confirmed prevalence of Acute Illness is higher in Rural Madhya Pradesh (around 9.6% for males and 10.6% for females) than in Urban Madhya Pradesh (around 7.2% for males and 8.2% for females). In both the areas, females are more acute ill than males and more so in Urban.  Seeking of regular treatment is some what higher in urban areas than rural whatever the source of seeking health facilities is.  Rural females are little more for regular treatment than rural males.  Urban females are also more for regular treatment than urban males. But Government Sources are not popular in both the Urban and rural areas. Only 17.8% of males utilize the Government facilities in Urban, whereas 18.5% of females use Government facilities.  In rural Madhya Pradesh, the use of Government Facilities is only around 17% by males and about 16% by females.  Thus, only 18% of urban persons utilize the Government facilities, whereas 17% of rural persons use Government facilities.  Thus Government need to strengthen the health care system in entire Madhya Pradesh so that public may have to spend less from their pocket on health care.
