It can be seen from above that confirmed prevalence of Chronic Illness is higher in Urban Rajasthan (around 2.4% for males and 3% for females) than in Rural Rajasthan (around 1.9% for males and 2.1% for females). In both the areas, females are more chronic ill than males.  Seeking of regular treatment is much higher in urban (76%) areas than rural (61%).  Urban males are more for regular treatment.  But Government Sources are not popular in Urban than rural areas.  Probably, private facilities may be better equipped as compared to Government set up in urban areas and the availability of Government facilities may be better in rural areas as compared to the private sector clinics and affordability problem may be the second best reason for rural Rajasthan for depending more on Government Sources.
