It can be seen that prevalence of Chronic Illness is much higher in Urban Rajasthan (around 2.4% for males and 3.0% for females) than in Rural Rajasthan (around 1.9% for males and 2.1% for females). It may be seen that most prevalent chronic disease is Asthma in rural Rajasthan and TB is the least prevalent chronic illness in its urban areas.  In urban Rajasthan, most prevalent chronic disease is Hypertension followed by Diabetes.  In rural Rajasthan, the least prevalent chronic disease is TB.
Both rural and urban females are more chronic ill than males.  In the State, prevalence of arthritis is more in both the rural and urban areas with females.  Asthma is little more prevalent chronic disease in rural areas than in the urban areas.  Tuberculosis is the last in the list as per its prevalence vis-a- vis other listed chronic illnesses in urban Rajasthan.  Its prevalence is more with rural males and females than urban males and females respectively of the state.
Males in both areas are more prone to be Diabetics than females, whereas females are more hypertensive than males in both rural as well as in urban parts of the state.
Tuberculosis is affecting more males than females in both the areas.
Females in both areas are more affected by arthritis than males, whereas males are more down with Asthma than females.
