It can be seen from above that confirmed prevalence of Chronic Illness is higher in Urban Jharkhand (around 5.2% for males and 6% for females) than in Rural Jharkhand (around 3.8% for males and 4.1% for females). In both the areas, females are more chronic ill than males.  Seeking of regular treatment is much higher in urban areas than rural whatever the source of seeking health facilities is.  Rural males are marginally more for regular treatment than rural females.  But Government Sources are not popular in both the Urban and rural areas. Only one-fifth of males utilize the Government facilities in Urban, whereas less than one-fifth of females use Government facilitiesi.e. not even one-fifth of individuals in cities and towns use Government Facilities in order to cure their chronic diseases.  In rural Jharkhand, the use of Government Facilities is only by less that 16% by males and about 12% by females i.e. not more than 14% of individuals use Government Facilities in order to cure their chronic diseases.
