Latest Problem of Affluent Punjab Farmers
It is in very much in news that the Affluent Punjab Farmers are unable to get cheap Labour from Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar for their agricultural operations like harvesting of crops etc. This clearly shows that reverse migration to UP and Bihar has already started. One the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guaranty Act (MGNREGA) is providing the 100 days employment at their own place and the other the states like Bihar is getting their people better avenues of earning at their own place. It is a very good sign that India is now developing in more balanced manner.
